- The timeless Levi's® style, redesigned and remastered. We took the world's most coveted jean and customized it with a slimmer leg that's cropped to a perfect, versatile length. Building upon our iconic 501®, this is a re-interpretation for today. This pair is upgraded with selvedge denim -- the finest denim in production today. Selvedge, from the term "self-edge," is the woven strip on both edges of a roll of fabric. Selvedge is traditionally woven on narrow-width shuttle looms, producing a clean edge with no fringe. We have sourced this premium fabric from Cone® Mills, a leading American manufacturer and proud Levi's partner for over 100 years.
